Dr. Nasim Shafie Zadeh completed her dental school in 1996 in Tehran, Iran. Upon graduation, she continued to pursuit her passion of working with children by obtaining her specialty in pediatric dentistry from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 2000.
After graduation she was a university faculty member as an assistant professor in Iran for 10 years, and had her own private practice for 15 years. Additionally, she has years of experience working with special needs children through charitable organizations.
After moving to Toronto she successfully completed the equivalency process of the National Dental Examination Board to get recertified as a general dentist in Ontario. Dr. Nasim is a member of Ontario Dental association, Canadian Dental Association, and Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.
Currently Dr. Nasim works as an associate dentist, and has limited her practice to children. In addition, she is now an adjunct clinical professor in children's clinic of Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at University of Western Ontario.
Dr. Nasim is married and has a son who is currently attending university, and she also has a German Shepherd named Ella. She spends her spare time with family and friends, and she enjoys travelling and gardening.
